The Mastercool 53551 Automotive Tracer Gas Regulator Kit is specifically engineered for automotive technicians who use a nitrogen-hydrogen tracer gas mix to pressure test R134a and R1234yf A/C systems. This complete kit includes a high pressure regulator, couplers, adapters and an advanced combustible gas leak detector making it the ideal solution for professional, non-refrigerant-based leak detection.

The single-stage high pressure regulator includes high-quality components and features a 1/4” FL-M outlet with a CGA350 (US) standard fitting for secure nitrogen-hydrogen tracer gas tank connections. A 38” yellow nylon barrier charging hose, rated for 800 psi working pressure and 4000 psi burst pressure, meets all EPA, SAE, and UL standards for use with refrigerant based repairs. The included leak testing adapter allows for precise pressure monitoring during nitrogen-hydrogen tracer gas insertion, featuring a 1/4” SAE hose connector, integrated pressure gauge (700 psi / 50 bar), and a ball valve for in-line testing.

The Intella-Sense III combustible gas leak detector detects combustible nitrogen-hydrogen tracer gas by using a heated tin oxide sensor for fast and precise leak testing. The adjustable sensitivity range provides pinpoint accuracy, while the LED display and powerful microprocessor produce intelligent feedback. Eliminating the potential of false alarms is the intelligent tip 15” inch probe with an environment sensing element. The 53551 is tailored to professionals who rely on accurate, non-refrigerant leak detection using industry-standard nitrogen-hydrogen tracer gas.
